We strongly encourage anyone interested to send in a submission–because no one is better at knowing how you contributed to the community than you are. Through your nomination, we can get the best understanding of who you are, what you’ve done to support San Antonio, and how we can best share your story.
If you don’t apply, and you are nominated, we will contact you to request additional information.
Once you fill out the form, a member of our project will contact your nominee, letting them know you nominated them and inviting them to accept the nomination. Then, we will set up at time to connect together!
If you would like to submit anonymously, please put the phrase “a friend” in the first name field instead of your own name, but know that these are less likely to be accepted by the nominee.
The interview is usually about an hour. If you cannot do a photo shoot, no worries! You can submit your own photographs and we will edit and post them for you. Stories are usually posted 2-4 weeks after the interview and photo shoot.
Do something kind for someone in your community! Nominate another person, share our posts, and keep the inspiration our city has to offer going!
