I strongly believe that everyone has a worthy story to share.

I grew up in Frisco, TX, a growing suburb of Dallas. However, I had always wanted to see what life was like outside of Texas, and ended up attending college at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. At Cornell, I studied Biology and Society, was involved with my Christian campus fellowship, and worked as a nursing assistant at Cornell’s assisted living facility on-campus. It was also during this time that I developed a passion for writing/blogging. Additionally, I was able to study abroad in Copenhagen during my senior year, and continued to write and reflect over my experiences that semester. I am now in my second year of PA school here at UTHSCSA, and I hope that through writing and reflecting over what I am learning here, I can become a more competent and compassionate provider in the future. In my free time, I like to hike/be out in nature, play guitar, watch NBA basketball, and spend quality time with family and friends.

I am passionate about hearing the personal stories of others and intentionally getting to learn more about individuals in the San Antonio community! I strongly believe that everyone has a worthy story to share. No matter what it may be, it is worthwhile to intently listen to the experiences of those different from ourselves.
