“There’s something to be said about knowing those around you. A deeper appreciation to be had for your shared struggles and victories. It is quite a simple concept, yet so complicated. Over the past year, I have had the honor and privilege to sit with a few of those around me, to know them, understand them, in a way that the typical “good morning (insert name)” doesn’t quite do. In my chosen career path, something like this tends to come with the job (to an extent). But SAPP has given opportunity to meet with people outside of “business” setting. To meet with people with whose courage is not always readily apparent but is massive and should be celebrated even. I am truly grateful for those who have shared their story with me, with us. It is not a privilege we take lightly and we hope to get to know many more, share many more struggles, stories, and victories.”
